Kerala Health Minister Shailaja goes into self-quarantine

Thiruvananthapuram: Kerala Health Minister KK Shailaja said she is under self-quarantine after her son and daughter-in-law tested positive for COVID.

The Minister informed this on her Facebook page.

"I do not have any symptoms but since I became a primary contact, I decided to go on quarantine. In the past few days I have taken part only in online meetings and will continue to do so in the same manner," wrote Minister Shailaja.

The Minister is presently resting at her home in Kannur.

Earlier, Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan tested positive for the virus. The Chief Minister is serving his post-COVID quarantine at his home in Kannur.
