Kartik Aaryan is supportive in terms of financial troubles: Producer Bhushan Kumar

As Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 is continuing a successful run at the box office, producer Bhushan Kumar opened up about actors hiking their fees after delivering one hit. He added that Kartik Aaryan has always been supportive in the matter.

His statement comes amid rumours that Kartik Aaryan has raised his fees to Rs 35-40 crores. The actor had dismissed the news and said "I have been promoted in life, haven't received my increment".

Bhushan told Pinkvilla that producers often cut their own budgets when actors charge more than expected. "If the actor fee is more, we compromise on the budget". He added that actors should charge like Aamir Khan where he earns more only if the film works.

He added that not every film needs to make Rs 100 crore. Bhool Bhulaiyaa has already made Rs 150 crore. "We would have been in a happy space even at Rs 80 to 90 crore," said the producer.

Kartik financially stood by us during the turbulent times and hats off to him. Kartik has always been like that. He stood by us and said 'I'm there for you guys. We will solve this together, said the producer talking about his next film Shehzada.

"We would like Shehzada to do better than Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2. But that isn't a benchmark, because the finances of that film are different," he added.
