Karnataka to bring forth bills against cow slaughter and 'Love Jihad'

After the recent passing of the UP Prohibition of Unlawful Conversion of Religion Ordinance 2020, the hype around 'love-jihad' has gone up, and the Karnataka state government wishes to follow in their footsteps.
Ashwath Narayan said to ANI, "Many states have already brought in the bills. We are also in the process of bringing bills against ''love jihad'' and to impose a ban on cow slaughter."
The Karnataka state government is expected to introduce the new bills against 'love-jihad' and cow slaughter in the upcoming legislative session. The particulars of what such a bill would entail is yet to be revealed.
