New Delhi: Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia on Tuesday became the first among the former congress leaders to hit back after Rahul Gandhi targeted them in a tweet.

Scindia mincing no words tweeted in Hindi that Rahul Gandhi himself has become a ‘troll’.

Rahul Gandhi reportedly picked on leaders who have left the Congress including Ghulam Nabi Azad, Anil Antony, Himanta Biswa Sarma, Jyotiraditya Scindia, Kiran Kumar Reddy.

‘It is clear that you are now limited to being a troll,’ Scindia tweeted in Hindi, according to NDTV.

Scindia, who was once a confidant of Gandhi, asked him to answer his three questions, rather than making "unfounded" allegations on Adani row.

Rahul Gandhi earlier had taken a dig at the former Congress leaders, saying that they hide the truth, hence they ‘mislead every day’.

‘The question remains the same - whose ₹ 20,000 crore benami money is in Adani's companies?’ Rahul Gandhi asked.

Scindia in reply asked him why he was not apologizing for his ‘derogatory’ remarks about backward classes, rather than saying ‘he is not Veer Savarkar and will not apologise’.

Scindia further asked why Rahul Gandhi was putting pressure on the court for his ‘selfish interests’, given that the Congress always pointed fingers at courts.

Thirdly, he asked Rahul Gandhi why rules should be different for him and adding whether he considered himself a first class citizen.

Scindia accused Rahul Gandhi of being so consumed by arrogance that appreciating his questions is beyond him.

Of the other leaders whom Rahul Gandhi targeted in his Tweet, Sarma said he would file a defamation case against the Congress leader.

Former Congress leader Ghulam Nabi Azad accused Rahul Gandhi of having ties with ‘undesirable businessmen’, according to NDTV.
