Ranchi: A truck driver in Jharkhand turned his difficult life around by starting a YouTube channel where he has garnered over 1.86 million subscribers, NDTV reported.

Rajesh Rawani who spent over two decades on Indian roads has risen to fame alongside purchasing new home for his family.

His YouTube channel R Rajesh Vlogs shows his passion for cooking.

A seasoned truck driver, Rajesh Rawani however survived a severe accident that injured his hand.

He had to continue driving to support his family alongside managing ongoing house construction.

Rajesh in a recent interview said he earns between ₹ 25,000 and ₹ 30,000 per month as a truck driver.

But as a YouTube influencer, his income typically ranges from ₹ 4-5 lakh, with ₹ 10 lakh being his best in one month.

It all began with a viral video that he posted with a voiceover but people kept asking him to reveal his face, he said adding ‘So, my son made a video showing my face, and it got 4.5 lakh views in just one day.’

Managing the YouTube channel alongside trucking job, he credits his family for it.

In his latest video released on August 18, Rajesh is seen discussing Bihar foods while driving to Guwahati.

He said that he had to travel 850 km to reach his destination.
