JEE main result declared: Six students secure 100 percentile

New Delhi: The National Testing Agency has declared the JEE Main result for the February session on its website, jeemain.nta.nic.in, today, March 8. A total of six candidates from all over the country secured 100 percentile in JEE Main February examination in Paper 1 (BE/BTech).

Two students from Delhi-- Pravar Kataria and Ranjim Prabal Das emerged as the toppers scoring 100 percentiles each. The other four are-- Saket Jha from Rajasthan, Guramrit Singh from Chandigarh, Siddhant Mukherjee from Maharashtra, and Ananth Krishna Kidambi from Gujarat.

The result for the examinations held from February 23 to 26 has been released within 10 days.

Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal 'Nishank' tweeted, "Dear students, JEE (Main) February session 2021 results are out. Congratulations to the students. Till last year, exams were done in 3 languages only but this time exams were conducted in 13 languages and results have been declared in 10 days- Great achievement by NTA"

The result of JEE Main 2021 Paper 1 is accessible to the candidates via their application number and password. The result announced for the February attempt for which a total of 6,61,776 candidates had registered and 95 per cent of candidates could finally appear in Paper 1. To download the NTA scorecard , candidates will be required to login to the JEE's official websites-jeemain.nta.nic.in and nta.ac.in with their credentials.

NTA had earlier said that there will be no All India Rank (AIR) list for February exams and it will be compiled after the May session.

Based on JEE Main result, admission will be given to Indian Institutes of Information Technology (IIITs), National Institutes of Technology (NITs), and other Government Funded Technical Institutions (GFTIs). JEE Main is also the qualifying exam for the IIT admission test JEE Advanced. IIT Kharagpur will administer the exam this year.
