New Delhi: Iran’s offer of visa-free entry for Indian citizens comes with four riders, NDTV reported.

The visa-free entry, taking to be effective from February 4, has four conditions, and is entirely for tourism purposes.

It has been reported that Indian tourists can visit the country without visa for a maximum of 15 days.

Indians holding ordinary passports can enter the country once every six months and stay for 15 days, which cannot be extended.

As mentioned previously, the visa-free entry is applicable only to tourism purposes.

Those who are seeking longer periods of stay and multiple entries within six months should get a visa, according to the report.

Additionally, the offer is particularly applicable only to Indian entering the country by air.

Iran is among the growing number of countries including Vietnam, Thailand, and Sri Lanka to have recently eased visa rules for Indians.
