Industrialist, ex-Tata chief Cyrus P Mistry killed in road accident
text_fieldsMumbai: Top industrialist Cyrus P Mistry, who was a former Tata Group Chairman, got killed in a road accident in Maharastra on Sunday. Mistry was 54, IANS reported.
Officials said that the chief of the Shapoorji Pallonji Group was travelling from Ahmedabad to Mumbai, and his car hit a road divider next to Charoti.
There were four people in the car, and two of them, including Mistry, succumbed to injuries. The crash damaged the vehicle severely. The identities of the rest of the four, who got injured and were admitted to a local hospital in Kasa, are not clear yet.
Expressing her shock at the accident, NCP MP Supriya Sule tweeted, "Devastating News My Brother Cyrus Mistry passed away. Can't believe it. Rest in Peace Cyrus,"
