I am curious where my life will take me, says Priyanka Chopra

Actress Priyanka Chopra said that 2022 is a life-changing year for her. The new mother is turning 40 this year and said she is excited about the future.

Priyanka has been living in the US for the past two years and has not been able to visit India due to the pandemic. Speaking to the travel magazine Travel + Leisure, she revealed her excitement about visiting her home country.

"I am dying to go back to India. The diversity in terms of languages, culture, and cuisine makes me feel like stepping into a new country when stepping into another state," said the actress.

Priyanka said that she does not know what she is going to do for her 40th birthday. "My husband and I plan each other's birthday. But I know what state of mind I want to be in. It is the next decade of my life. I'm very excited about the future." She and her husband Nick Jonas recently became parents to a baby girl.

On the career front, Priyanka recently wrapped up the shoot for her Amazon series Citadel, created by Russo Brothers. She is also looking forward to the release of Text For You, her first starring role in a Hollywood film. The global star is also set to co-star in the adaptation of Shilpi Somaya Gowda's novel The Secret Daughter with Sienna Miller.

Priyanka said that she is curious about where her life and career will take her. "I'm at a place where I feel like I'm at the precipice of change, and I'm ready to accept it and receive it."
