Hyderabad woman arrested for killing husband over extramarital affair

Hyderabad: A woman from Sainagar, Jillelleguda, under Meerpet police station limits, has been arrested for allegedly murdering her husband and attempting to disguise the crime as an accident.
The accused, identified as Sandhya, reportedly attacked her husband Vijay Kumar, an auto-rickshaw driver, with an iron rod, resulting in his death. She then placed his body outside their residence in an attempt to mislead authorities into believing it was an accidental death.
However, during the investigation, police uncovered evidence suggesting foul play. Upon interrogation, Sandhya confessed to the crime, stating that she killed her husband because he was obstructing her relationship with another man.
A case has been registered and further investigation is underway.
