New Delhi: Former Prime Ministers Manmohan Singh and HD Deve Gowda are among those dignitaries invited to the G20 Summit dinner in New Delhi on Saturday.

As G20 meet in the national capital is waiting for a grand opening, the government is putting all efforts to make it great success.

The 18th G20 Leaders' Summit, one of the most high-profile meet ever held in the country, will take place at the Bharat Mandapam in the national capital.

All chief ministers including Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar Tamil Nadu's MK Stalin, West Bengal's Mamata Banerjee, Jharkhand's Hemant Soren, Punjab's Bhagwant Mann, and Delhi's Arvind Kejriwal have been invited to the banquet to be hosted by President Droupadi Murmu.

Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge has not received invite, according to NDTV.

The world leaders who are expected to attend the meeting include US President Joe Biden, UK Prime Minister Rishi Sunak, Saudi Arabia's Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Salman, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, and Japan's Prime Minister Fumio Kishida.

Chinese President Xi Jinping and Russian President Vladimir Putin will not be coming to India for the meeting.
