Fire in laddu distribution centre at Tirupati Temple, no casualties

A fire broke out at the laddu prasadam distribution area of the Tirumala Tirupati Temple in Andhra Pradesh, causing panic among devotees.

The incident occurred at counter number 47 and was attributed to a short circuit in the UPS system connected to the computer, according to Venkaiah Chowdary, Joint Executive Officer of Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams.

Staff at the scene promptly acted to control the flames, preventing further escalation. Authorities confirmed that no casualties were reported in the incident.

Efforts are underway to assess the extent of damage and ensure the safety of the premises moving forward.
