Feud between Punjab CM and Sidhu Continues, Amrinder camp adamant for Sidhus apology

The trouble in Punjab congress doesn't seem to be over despite Congress high command amicable solution where disgruntled leader Navjoth Singh Sidhu was elevated as PVV President. Punjab Chief Minister Amarinder Singh reportedly is yet to meet Navjot Singh Sidhu; the camo demands an apology for his social media attacks on Capt Mairinder Singh.

CM's media strategist tweeted that there was no effort from Sidhu to meltdown the feud developed in the last three months.

He tweeted, "Reports of @sherryontop seeking time to meet @capt_amarinder are totally false. No time has been sought whatsoever. No change in stance... CM won't meet #NavjotSinghSidhu till he publicly apologises for his personally derogatory social media attacks against him." Raveen Thukral wrote

The tweet has sent shocks to the party high command, which have hoped to see the united fight against opposition in the upcoming state election.

According to sources, Amrinder Singh and his team hoped for an apology from Sindhu and his camp; however, there are no signs of an apology until now. Thus the feud going on between these two heavyweights is expected to harm the chances of the Congress party in the upcoming elections,

The Gandhis had signed off on the compromise formula on Sunday, despite a group of Punjab MPs from Mr Singh's camp expressing reservations over his promotion.
