Bengaluru: Father beats son to death for playing on mobile phone instead of studying. Tejas, aged 14, was beaten on his head to death by his father, Ravikumar.

The incident took place on Friday night in Kumaraswamy Layout, Bengaluru. Ravikumar, who had come home drunk, picked up a cricket bat and beat Tejas, who was watching reels on his mobile phone.

Although he said that he was watching reels on his mobile phone because it was a school holiday on Saturday, Ravikumar attacked his son. Tejas, who suffered serious head injuries, was taken to the hospital, but his life could not be saved. The police have arrested Ravikumar over the incident.
