Delhi Police files charge sheet against 15 accused in North-East Delhi pogrom case

Delhi Police files charge sheet against 15 accused in North-East Delhi pogrom case under sections of Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act, IPC and Arms Act. Special cell of Delhi Police told the court that it has relied upon CD-R and Whatsapp chats.
The charge sheet filed at Karkardooma Court is over 10,000 pages. The police has listed 747 witnesses and of them 51 have recorded their statements under CRPC 164 (before the magistrate) in the charge sheet.
The charge sheet filed today does not have names of Umar Khalid and Sharjeel Imam as accused.
As they were arrested a few days ago, their names will be in the supplementary charge sheet.
