Delhi HC lawyer found dead in her house, husband held

Noida: A Delhi High Court lawyer was found dead inside her house in Sector 30, in Uttar Pradesh’s Noida on Sunday, police said.
The deceased, identified as 61-year-old Renu Sinha lived with her husband Nitin Nath Sinha.
The incident came to light when Renu’s brother called police after failing to contact her for two days.
The police recovered the woman's body from a bathroom after breaking in to her house.
The victim’s brother alleged that his brother-in-law Nitin used to harass Renu, and strongly suspects he might have killed her.
The Nitin was found absconding while police searched the house on Sunday and after hours of searching, the police found him at 3:00 p.m. hiding in the store room of the house.
He was taken into custody and he is being interrogated at present.
According to ACP Noida Rajneesh Verma, the couple has a son, who lives in America.
The locals also informed the police that the husband and wife frequently fought, and despite living in the same house, the couple lived separately.
The police said that they are investigating into the matter.
