The arrest of a Bajrang Dal leader in connection with a criminal case involving the orchestration of cow slaughter, aimed at falsely incriminating Muslims, serves as a stark example of the right wing's alleged involvement in crimes that have tragically resulted in the loss of innocent Muslim lives under the guise of cow protection.

Monu Bishnoi, Bajrang Dal leader, was among the four individuals arrested for allegedly orchestrating a series of cow slaughter incidents to falsely implicate a Muslim man in criminal cases in Uttar Pradesh's Moradabad district.

The arrests came after police investigations into two separate incidents involving the slaughtering of cows, which initially appeared as attempts to stir communal tension in the region. The first incident occurred on January 16, followed by another on January 29, both raising suspicions due to their unusual circumstances.

In a press conference held by Moradabad Senior Superintendent of Police Hemraj Meena, it was revealed that Shahabuddin, with the assistance of Bajrang Dal leader Monu Bishnoi and his associates Raman Chaudhary and Rajiv Chaudhary, allegedly carried out the crimes. Bishnoi, holding the position of Moradabad district president of the Hindutva group, was implicated in planning and executing the false cases.

The elaborate scheme involved placing evidence at the scenes of the crimes to frame a Muslim man identified as Mehmood, who reportedly had personal disputes with individuals involved in the plot.

Police investigations further unveiled a previous attempt on January 14, where Bishnoi and his associates allegedly paid an individual to stage another cow slaughter incident to pressure law enforcement.

Following thorough investigations and obtaining crucial evidence such as call details and mobile phone locations, the police arrested the four individuals involved.

They have been charged under various sections of the Indian Penal Code, including criminal conspiracy, false charges with intent to harm, theft, house trespassing, and dishonestly receiving stolen property, along with violations of the UP Prevention of Cow Slaughter Act.
