Congress demands to withdraw cases against farmers and enact MSP
text_fieldsAccording to Congress, cases against farmers should be withdrawn as soon as possible, and MSP should be enacted immediately.
Randeep Surjewala, the Congress spokesperson, stated at a press meet that "we demand that today, please, come forward and announce compensation for next of the kin of each one of the 700 farmers who died, announce a government job for them, and also announce the withdrawal of every single criminal case registered falsely from UP to Haryana."
According to him, the government should announce the constitution of the committee to determine the mandatory MSP architecture and make sure that not only the committee is constituted within 24 hours, but also delivers a report within the next 30 days, so the farmers of India know what the possibility is of the grant of Minimum Support Price for their produce.
Clearly, Congress is inclined to accuse Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his government of only working for crony capitalists and they are arrogant and insensitive to the plight of the toiling farmers and farm laborers of this country, and they won't pardon them.
Additionally, Congress raised the issue of China, alleging that the Modi Government has compromised national security.
"How China dared to rename 26-27 places in the state of Arunachal Pradesh, which is an integral part of our motherland India and why is Prime Minister Mum? Why is the Prime Minister quiet and silent? Why is the Defence Minister not uttering a word? It is a bounden duty of our government and Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi to ensure that Chinese transgression into India's territories is defeated decisively, to use your own words Mr Prime Minister, please, show red eyes to China. Please, look into their eyes and ensure that the Chinese transgression is decisively defeated," Randeep said.
