Cong candidates pledge not to leave party after elections in Goa

Congress party official candidates pledged to stay in the party post-election after 15 out of 17 MLAs quit since the 2017 Goa assembly elections.

Michael Lobo, former Minister of Ports and the BJP's candidate in Calangute assembly constituency said just before taking the oath, "It is a very important thing. We will not quit the party after the polls."

Lobo was a Minister in the BJP-led coalition government before he joined the Congress earlier
