Child porn content: CBI raids Guwahati and Dhemaji in Assam

Guwahati: Searching for criminals involved in peddling child pornographic content, the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) unleashed raids on Sunday in Assam's Guwahati and Dhemaji, IANS reported.
According to police, several child porn movies have been uploaded to the Internet from IP addresses located in the mentioned areas. CBI received that intel that criminals used mobile phones and other electronic gadgets to upload child pornographic content from IP addresses in Guwahati and Dhemaji.
Further, the central probe agency had launched raids in certain locations in Agartala and Itanagar, capitals of Tripura and Arunachal Pradesh, respectively.
So far, zero arrests have been reported.
The CBI had launched the nationwide operation "Megh Chakra" to rein crimes against children. It had raided 59 locations in the country in 21 states, including Assam.
