Shivamogga: Karnataka Police registered a case against 10 Bajrang Dal workers in the case of vandalizing the car of a Muslim youth. The Shivamogga police in Karnataka have registered an FIR against Ashwini, the sister of Bajrang Dal leader Harsha, who was killed earlier this year. The Innova car damaged by the group belonged to a youth named Syed Parvez.

The incident related to the case took place on October 22 at 5.15 pm. A few Bajrang Dal workers, including Ashwini, were taking out a 'Savarkar rally' with bikes during which Syed Parvez's Innova car was smashed.

According to the FIR, the violence was unleashed by shouting "Jai Shri Ram". A case was registered against the attackers under sections 416, 143, 147, 427 and 149 of the Indian Penal Code.

Police also said that after the incident, a group on bikes arrived near Harsha's residence with deadly weapons. They shouted slogans near the house and threw stones at a man named Prakash who tried to stop him. The police registered a case and has initiated investigation.

As per a report by news agency IANS, Prakash, who is currently hospitalised, told the police that a total of nine miscreants, all wearing masks, came on three bikes and they were carrying machetes and swords.

Superintendent of Police Mithun visited the spot and instructed to monitor the situation.
