Bullet train connectivity will come to South India: Andhra Pradesh CM
text_fieldsAndhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu on Friday said South India will soon have bullet train services.
Speaking at the ‘India Food Manufacturing Summit’, Naidu announced that the project will link Hyderabad, Amaravati, Chennai, and Bengaluru.
He said the connectivity will serve more than five crore people.
“Very soon bullet train is going to come to South India. That is going to happen. Survey has been ordered. From Hyderabad, Chennai, Amaravati, Bangalore, all four cities, more than five crore population and the biggest market in the world,” the chief minister said.
Naidu added that people will be able to see the state of logistics once the bullet train becomes a reality.
The chief minister also highlighted the government’s plans to expand roadways in the state. He said even remote roads would be maintained to international standards.
