Boosting Umrah experience for Indians: Saudi minister visits India
text_fieldsNew Delhi: The Minister of Hajj & Umrah of Saudi Arabia, Dr Tawfig bin Fawzan Al Rabiah, reached India to strengthen and streamline services for Umrah performers, Financial Express reports.
The visit will discuss streamlining procedures, boosting services and blueprinting comprehensive plans to host Indian pilgrims. The movies closely aligned with Saudi’s Vision 2030.
The minister’s Indian visit is part of a series of international tours showing Saudi’s commitment to serving visitors and pilgrims.
The current visit to India will exhibit Saudi’s Nusuk platform and the Tasheer e-visa-issuing centre in an inaugural exhibition. The two are expected to provide a user-friendly experience for Umrah goers in India.
“The visit aims to introduce the array of facilities available to the guests of Allah from India, emphasizing the distinctive benefits of the electronic Umrah visa and the Nusuk platform, reinforcing the commitment to providing exceptional services,” a statement by the Embassy of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in India read.
“These international visits reflect the Ministry’s and its partners’ continuous efforts in the Hajj ecosystem to establish robust communication channels and foster cooperation with countries worldwide. The primary objective of these trips is to showcase the exceptional services provided by the government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to Umrah seekers and visitors coming to the Kingdom,” it added.
The Saudi government is committed to creating the best possible experience for pilgrims, and the series of tours by the minister seeks to facilitate so.
The minister was accompanied by senior officials from the Ministry, representatives from the private sector and associated entities.
