Biriyani terrorism trends in TN, Right Wing says the food makes Hindus infertile

Chennai: It is seen to be no end of hatred being spread against Muslim in society through social media. Every aspect where Muslim have their own unique mark have been targeted, canards being tailored and spread on social media through organised campaign.

It is not just the Muslim outfit that are being targeted, the food, the language, the prayer and the very behaviour of people belonging to the community are being tarnished on the public platforms. The root of all these hatred-spread somewhere falls in the right wing groups as part of the alleged furthering of Hindutva agendas.

Biriyani is the latest in the hatred trend in Tamil Nadu, where a hoax being spread that in Biriyanis sold in Muslim shops have the element of making unmarried Hindus infertile.

According to The News Minute report, a twitter handle that has 20.8K followers accused that the Muslim-run biriyani shops that operate during midnight entices Hindus with the food that Muslims themselves don't eat at these shops, make Hindus slave of the food where they are found to be lining up as if queuing at fertility centres.

The report further noted several other twitter posts that smear vicious claims against the Muslims shoppers, accusing them of doing food and cultural terrorism. All the posts have the cited making Hindus sterile is the sole purpose that is being served with the Biriyanis.

The tweets also reprimand those Hindus who are queuing up at Muslim shops forsaking the culture of the land, with a warning that if not today the action against the cultural terrorism is not taken, it will be featured in The Chennai Files after 50 years, referring to The Kashmir Files.

Earlier there had similar campaign in Kerala where social media handles operated by some Hindu and Christian groups accusing Muslim restaurants of spitting into the food for making halal food. Despite several clarifications, even by some prominent Hindus and Christians who came out to prove that things are otherwise, the campaign against Halal food is still going on in Kerala though not in the same vigour it used to be.

These orchestrated hatred which is being spread with the intention to intimidate and subjugate the Muslim community, with a long term goal to ensure a complete social ostracisation of Muslim community, leads to the warning of a Muslim genocide.
