Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 team heaps praise on Tabu for pulling off the double role

Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 has met with unprecedented success at the box office and the team was recently seen celebrating the same. The crew shared a video of what went into making Tabu's double role.

While Kartika Aaryan is being praised for comedic timing, no one has been able to forget the entertaining yet scary performance delivered by Tabu. Aaryan said the actress brought so much to the table and it was a learning experience to work with her.

The video shared by the studio featured a light-hearted moment between Tabu and Kiara. The senior actress is seen singing a song and Kiara is seen lip-syncing to it. Kiara said Tabu was "lovely and warm" on the sets. Director Anees Bazmee said he had no second thoughts about who will play Anjulika and Manjulika in the film.

In the video, Tabu said she spent over two years on the movie and she was convinced to do the movie because the director told her she needed to play one bad and one good character. Tabu said it was a new and exciting experience for her.

The makers knew they had to hire someone who will convince the audience and is strong enough to carry both personas. And Tabu was the right person for the job because she excels at the challenging job of acing the timing.

The film was released on May 20 and has collected Rs 159.23 crore till now. Trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted that Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 is a one-horse race at the ticket window. "Week 2 and it is still super-strong despite reduced screens and shows".
