Jaipur: The Congress will be celebrating the 100 days of the Bharat Jodo Yatra in Jaipur on Friday with a concert. AICC General Secretary Jairam Ramesh said the party is organising a live performance featuring Bollywood singer Sunidhi Chauhan.

On December 19, the yatra's milestone is going to be celebrated with a huge public meeting in Alwar, said AICC General Secretary Jairam Ramesh.

The rally has so far covered Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Telangana, Maharashtra, and Madhya Pradesh. It is scheduled to conclude in Jammu and Kashmir in February 2023. Today, the yatra resumed from Jeenapur, Rajasthan, and paused at Soorwal bypass.

Ramesh praised Sawai Madhopur's guavas and said he was surprised to find that the district leads in guava cultivation. He added that guava processing units should be promoted in the area. The Congress' Rajasthan unit chief Govind Singh Dotasra said the feedback received during the yatra would be communicated to the government.

On Monday, Rahul Gandhi met with women representatives from different organisations. He is also meeting around 30 Dalit activists on Tuesday. Former Union minister Namonarain Meena said the yatra had received an overwhelming response. He added that the lies spread by PM Modi had been exposed.
