New Delhi: Bollywood superstar Salman Khan rushed to Lilavati Hospital in Mumbai on Saturday night cancelling his shoot for Bigg Boss 18 to visit slain NCP leader and his close friend Baba Siddique's family, NDTV reported.
Siddique, a towering figure in Maharashtra politics having close ties with several Bollywood celebrities such as Salman Khan and Shah Rukh, was shot dead by three unknown assailants in Bandra,
Actor Salman Khan’s visit to the hospital bespeaks his close relation with Baba Siddique who once helped iron out the star’s differences with fellow Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan.
Siddique played a pivotal role in reconciling the two superstars who fell out over a heated argument at Katrina Kaif's birthday party in 2008, NDTV reported.
The stars, who had been avoiding each other in public since that incident, finally met at Siddique's annual Iftaar party, where they hugged sending positive vibes on social media.
