Anything but hatred can be planted in Punjab, says CM Mann

Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann warned those trying to disturb the peace and harmony by saying anything can be planted in the fertile land of the state but not seeds of hatred.
He was speaking at the gathering after offering prayers at local Idgah in Malerkotla on Eid-ul-Fitr.
CM Mann said Eid is a festival that makes people feel the pain of others. "This sacred festival symbolises universal brotherhood, peace, and amity". He added that his government will not spare anyone involved in nefarious attempts at weakening the strong social bonding amongst the people.
He also ensured the comprehensive and all-around development of Malerkotla. "No stone will be left unturned to develop the required infrastructure of the newly-formed district". The previous government had given Malerkotla district status.
The current CM said that he is well aware of the needs of Malerkotla, and the development of education and health infrastructure will be top priorities. He added a lot has to be done to make it a district in real sense." The AAP government is committed to spending every penny from the state treasury on the welfare of the people."
A local MLA Mohmmad Jamil Ur Rehman had raised questions regarding the funds dedicated to the development of the historic town. The Chief Minister ensured that the development of the city will be completed to the satisfaction of its residents, and there will not be a shortage of funds.
Speaking of his government's initiatives to provide clean and transparent administration, he stated that the goal is to regain the lost glory of the state. He noted that a campaign has been launched to eradicate corruption and free the government land from illegal possessions.
Mann's cabinet has already approved a massive recruitment drive to fill 26,454 posts lying vacant in various government departments. Speaking of job creation for youngsters of the state, he urged people to allow the government some time to perform. "My government has been implementing every commitment made to the people".
