Hyderabad: Union Home Minister Amit Shah delivered a sharp jibe at the ruling Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS), its ally All India Majlis-e-Ittehad-ul-Muslimeen (AIMIM), and the opposition Congress in Telangana, labelling them as "2G, 3G, and 4G" parties in a reference to what he perceives as a trend of dynasty politics within these groups.

Speaking at the "Raitu Gosa - BJP Barosa" Public Meeting in Khammam, Shah criticised the leadership of Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao-led BRS government, which is supported by AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi. He suggested that the countdown has begun for what he termed the "corrupt and oppressive" BRS government.

Amit Shah's analogy was based on the number of generations associated with each party's leadership. He stated, "Congress is a 4G party--Jawaharlal Nehru, Indira ji, Rajiv ji and now Rahul Gandhi - It is a four-generation party. KCR's party is the 2G party and Owaisi's party is the 3G party."

Shah further asserted, "Neither 2G will come, 3G will come nor 4G will come. Now is the turn of the lotus," referencing the BJP's symbol.

He then accused the BRS of undermining the aspirations of those who sacrificed their lives during the agitation for separate statehood. As the upcoming election looms, he expressed confidence that the BJP would emerge victorious and establish its governance.

"The future Chief Minister of Telangana will be from the BJP under the leadership of PM Modi," he confidently proclaimed.

With this statement, Amit Shah highlighted his party's determination to secure a prominent position in the Telangana political landscape and expressed his conviction in Prime Minister Narendra Modi's leadership.
