Actor Shekhar Suman joins BJP, says it was a sudden decision

Actor and television personality Shekhar Suman has made a surprise entry into the BJP on the day of the third phase of polling for the Lok Sabha elections.
Speaking at the party headquarters in the presence of senior BJP leaders, Suman expressed his gratitude for being guided to this decision.
"Even I did not know till yesterday that I would be sitting here. A lot of things happen in life. Sometimes you don't know what you are supposed to do and you get a direction from above and you follow it. I have come here with a positive outlook and I would like to thank God for directing me to come here," he conveyed in Hindi.
Suman emphasized the importance of action over mere words and expressed his commitment to serving the country. He extended his gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, and BJP chief JP Nadda, among others.
Accompanying Suman in his decision to join the BJP was Radhika Khera, who previously served as the national coordinator of the Congress' media department before quitting the party on Sunday.
