Gangster Lawrence Bishnoi

Hyderabad: On Saturday, April 4, Sultan Bazaar police arrested four individuals caught displaying a photograph of notorious gangster Lawrence Bishnoi during Thursday's Hanuman Jayanti procession.

Authorities registered a case after footage of the group of youngsters brandishing the poster exploded across social media platforms. Officers quickly identified the suspects and placed four of them in custody.

Investigators have pinpointed a few additional individuals involved, with ongoing efforts underway to apprehend them. Police have chosen not to disclose the names of those arrested or being sought.

In response to the arrests, Bajrang Dal activists gathered at the Sultan Bazaar police station, staging a vocal protest. They raised slogans against the Hyderabad police and demanded the immediate release of the detained persons. The protesters also targeted Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy and the Congress party government with sharp criticism.
