New York: Indian street food Pani puri has found its way into the hearts of many residents in the US city of Minneapolis after a restaurant began serving it, NDTV reported.

While the mouthwatering flavours of the delicacy traditionally earned legions of fans in India, a footage on social media showed locals in Minneapolis first time trying out the snack.

People in Minneapolis were seen in the clip outside the Indian restaurant ‘Curry Corner’ reacting to snack with some saying ‘ speechless’ while others claiming to have visited the place several times to enjoy it.

The restaurant in the caption of its Instagram post said: "We took the most popular Indian street food to Minneapolis streets."

The Instagram reel has amassed over 3.9 million views and over 90,000 likes since it was shared last month.

Reacting to it a user said: "Man I stopped at an Indian spot in chicago one day and tried pani puri for the first time and started crying tears of happiness."

Another user on the platform reacted to the video: "Atleast 30 panipuri in one go is minimum. 1 or 2 panipuri is nothing for me".

Many poured out their hearts recounting their excitement of eating the snack with one person saying: "Until you eat 20+ pani puris breathlessly with tears streaming down your face in a row, you haven't known the truth of eating pani puri."
