Zeenat Aman to make a comeback in Manish Malhotra's production venture

Mumbai: Ace fashion designer Manish Malhotra, a prominent figure in the Bollywood fashion scene, has ventured into film production with his company, Stage5 Production. His first Bollywood project under this banner, titled "Bun Tikki," will mark the return of legendary actress Zeenat Aman to the silver screen.

Alongside Aman, the film will feature Abhay Deol and Shabana Azmi. The movie will be directed by Faraz Arif Ansari and produced by Manish Malhotra in collaboration with Jio Studios and Jyoti Deshpande. "Bun Tikki" is scheduled to commence filming in November this year, reported Pinkvilla.

On September 2nd, Malhotra took to Instagram to share the news about his production venture and the film. He wrote in the caption, "The hard work of 3:5 years of #stage5production has also led to curating and nurturing #BunTikki, a special and sensitive film starting November 2023."

Earlier, Manish Malhotra had announced the maiden project of his production house, Stage 5 Productions, through an Instagram post. The film, titled "Train," features Radhika Apte, Divyenndu, Anshumaan Pushkar, Sauraseni Maitra, Sharat Saxena, Kusha Kapila, and Anurag Kashyap. Tisca Chopra will be directing the film, which is produced by Jyoti Deshpande.

Malhotra's entry into film production received warm congratulations from celebrities in the industry. Kareena Kapoor Khan, Karan Johar, Kajol, Abhishek Bachchan, Varun Dhawan, and others expressed their excitement and support for his new venture.
