Whats running on big screens as theaters re-open?, Here is the list

The list of movies to hit the screens has been officially announced as theatres and multiplexes reopen its doors under strict Covid19 protocols.

Film critic and trade analyst Taran Adarsh in his twitter page shared the list of films to be re-released. Vivek Oberoi-starrer PM Narendra Modi biopic was the first film to be re-released and screened in the theatres on October 15.

The list of Bollywood movies to be re-released include late actor Sushant Rajput's 2018 film Kedarnath, Tanhaji starring Saif Ali Khan, Ajay Devgn and Kajol, romantic comedy Shubh Mangal Zyaada Saavdhan featuring Ayushman Khurrana, Taapsee Pannu's Thappad, romantic action thriller Malang starring Disha Patani, Anil Kapoor and Aditya Roy and 2019 thriller movie War featuring Hritik Roshan and Tiger Shroff .

This list is expected to keep growing as more films will be scheduled in coming up days.The Hollywood films to soon hit the screens include My Spy, Tenet, The Rental and Forces Of Nature.

Meanwhile leading multiplex chains have informed that the films Dil Bechara, Sadak 2, Shakuntala Devi, Khuda Haafiz, Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl and Gulabo Sitabo that are streaming on various OTT platforms WILL NOT be released in theatres.

The government of India under Unlock 5.0 guidelines had permitted the reopening of theatres from October 15 after remaining closed for the past seven months.

Proper sanitisation, thermal screening and ensuring physical distancing of audiences are to be mandatorily implemented by all theatres.
