Kochi: Actor Ansiba Hassan has intensified her attack on actor Tiny Tom, accusing him of not only targeting her personally but also damaging Kerala's secular social fabric through a campaign built around her religion and identity.

Speaking while appearing to give a statement in connection with her complaint against Thrippunithura Sub-Inspector Reshma and actor Lakshmipriya, Ansiba alleged that Tiny Tom sought to settle personal scores by using her faith and name to spread false narratives. She claimed he circulated allegations within and outside the Association of Malayalam Movie Artists (AMMA), portraying her as someone who had attempted to convert the son of production controller Rajeev Kudappanakkunnu and subjecting her to "jihadi" slurs and other defamatory accusations.

Ansiba maintained that the allegations were completely fabricated. She said she escaped serious consequences only because Rajeev Kudappanakkunnu and his son publicly denied the claims. Otherwise, the misinformation campaign could have exposed her to severe legal and social repercussions, including imprisonment and accusations of anti-national activity.

The actress said she would continue pursuing her complaint against Tiny Tom. She also criticised AMMA, alleging that although she had approached the organisation seeking justice, it became willing to address the issue only after media pressure mounted. Ansiba said she resigned from the organisation because she had no faith in the current executive committee, noting that its president supported Tiny Tom while its vice-president had filed what she described as a false complaint against her.

She further demanded a new inquiry panel, arguing that there was no point appearing before a committee in which the accused effectively acted as judges. She suggested including Mala Parvathy, Ramesh Pisharody, Dhyan Sreenivasan or other impartial individuals.

Ansiba had earlier complained to the Chief Minister, alleging that woman SI VR Reshma of Thrippunithura Hill Palace Police Station had mistreated and mentally harassed her following a complaint filed by actor Lakshmipriya.
