Bollywood actor Hritik Roshan spent 10 days in Assam airbase in Tezpur to shoot Siddharth Anand directed action-packed aerial thriller, Fighter. The actor has now gifted his gym equipment to the officer's mess.

Speaking to Pinkvilla, a source revealed that Hritik carried a functional gym set up to work out during his shooting schedule. This is to keep up with his intensive regime for the film. He gifted it to the officers at the airbase as a token of gratitude. "The actor upgraded the existing gym at the Airbase, with a number of workout equipment. Equipment like Lat pull down, preacher, leg extension, rowing machine, squat rack, and leg press are permanently made available by Hrithik for the Airbase officials."

Hritik Roshan plays an Air Force officer - a twinjet multirole air superiority fighter aircraft pilot - in Fighter. The film also stars Deepika Padukone and Anil Kapoor. It is being marketed to be India's first aerial action franchise and is written by former army officer Ramon Chibb.

The film will hit the screens in January 2024.
