Mumbai: Bollywood actress Sushmita Sen has garnered immense appreciation for her portrayal of transgender activist Shreegauri Sawant in the web series 'Taali.'

The series, available on the Jio Cinema streaming platform, has not only earned accolades from critics but has also captured the hearts of the audience within just five days of its release.

In a heartwarming Instagram post, Sushmita Sen conveyed her heartfelt gratitude and joy.

Accompanied by a photo showcasing her radiant smile, the actress expressed, "This happiness is a vibe!! And YOU are the reason!!!" With a string of emojis, including a smiley face, a red heart, a dancing girl, and a cheers gesture, she conveyed her appreciation. She extended her gratitude to all who have supported the series by stating, "Thank you all for the love, respect & appreciation you've been showering on #Taali."

In a thoughtful gesture, Sushmita Sen tagged the entire cast and crew, making the thankfulness collective. She further shared, "The calls, the messages, the posts, the stories, the flowers, the love notes (smile and red heart emoji) All forever cherished!!! Thank you for opening your hearts!!! The world needs it!!! (hug emoji) #trulyoverwhelmed I love you guys!!!! #duggadugga (red hearts emoji)." It seems her intention was to encapsulate the overwhelming gratitude and the genuine love she feels.

'Taali: Bajaungi Nahi, Bajwaungi,' a biographical drama directed by Ravi Jadhav, made its debut on the Jio Cinema OTT platform on August 15th.
