Chennai: The theatrical trailer of Suriya-starrer 'Jai Bhim' will be released on October 22, announced the makers of the film. With an intense plot and engrossing narrative, the makers are all set to portray Suriya as advocate Chandru in the movie
Slated for its release on November 2 on Amazon Prime Video, the producers are amplifying the hype around the movie release.
The makers had earlier unveiled the teaser, which doubled the anticipation around its release. As the teaser established a solid hype, the makers also updated the fans with the first song titled 'Power'. Now that the theatrical trailer is to be out, the makers are to kickstart the promotions as well.
The song released in multiple languages including Tamil and Telugu captures the concept of righteousness and the struggle to achieve equality. The song portrays actor Suriya in the role of an Advocate who strives for equal treatment and justice for the oppressed. The song is high on energy which makes listeners tap their feet to the beat.
Helmed by TJ Gnanavel, the film will see Suriya essaying the role of a lawyer who takes on various battles and fights for the rights and justice of the tribal communities in the movie. The cast also includes Prakash Raj, Rao Ramesh, Rajisha Vijayan, Manikandan and Lijo Mol Jose essaying pivotal roles.
Recently, taking to his official Instagram handle on the occasion of Dussehra, October 15, the Soorarai Pottru actor released the one-and-a-half-minute clip featuring excerpts from the high voltage courtroom drama. Sharing the links of the teaser's Tamil and Telugu versions, Suriya penned a note stating, "I strongly believe true stories can bring true changes in the society...#JaiBhim will be an intense one and is close to my heart!!
The movie, a joint production venture of Suriya and his actress-wife Jyotika under their 2D Entertainment banner will start streaming this Diwali in Tamil and Telugu across 240 countries and territories.
'Jai Bhim' is a story entangled around the world of injustice, where the underprivileged have to fight the world for their basic rights.
