Sonakshi Sinha says ‘It is nobody’s business’ on wedding with beau Zaheer Iqbal

The actress has responded to speculations that she is getting married to her longtime partner and fellow actor Zaheer Iqbal after her father Shatruhan Sinha stated that he and his wife Poonam are "still waiting to be informed" about their daughter Sonakshi Sinha's wedding.
According to reports, Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer will tie the knot on June 23 of this month. The Heeramandi actress, however, claimed in a recent interview that she finds it "very funny" when people inquire about her wedding plans.
In a conversation with iDiva, Sonakshi said, “Firstly, it’s nobody’s business. Secondly, it is my choice, so I don’t know why people are so concerned about it. People ask me about my marriage more than my parents, so I find that very funny. Now, I am just used to it. It doesn’t bother me. People are curious; what can we do about it?”
Her brother Luv had responded to speculations regarding his sister's wedding before Sonakshi. Talking to Hindustan Times, he had said, “I won’t be commenting. It’s better if you reach out to Sonakshi or the other person. All I can say is I have nothing to say on this matter.”
Sonakshi and Zaheer have remained quiet about their romance despite frequently appearing on one other's social media pages, encouraging and posting heartfelt pictures of one another. Sonakshi did, however, previously freely admit that she was excited to get married shortly, Indian Express reported.
During her appearance on The Great Indian Kapil Show to promote Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar on Netflix, Kapil joked with Sonakshi suggesting that since her friends, Alia Bhatt and Kiara Advani, were married, she ought to be as well. To this, Sonakshi had said, “Jale pe namak chirak rahe ho. Woh janta hei mujhe kitne zor se shaadi karni he (He is rubbing salt into my wounds, because he knows how badly I want to get married).”
Rumour has it that Sonakshi and Zaheer will tie the wedding on June 23. Celebrities who are likely to attend the ceremony include Salman Khan and his family, Sanjay Leela Bhansali, who directed Sonakshi's Heeramandi, and her co-stars Fardeen Khan, Taha Shah Badussha, Aditi Rao Hydari, and Sharmin Segal.
