Shah Rukh Khan's Jawan trailer illuminates Burj Khalifa

Dubai: Dubai's iconic Burj Khalifa was aglow with the trailer of Shah Rukh Khan's upcoming film, Jawan, last night.

A captivating video capturing the Burj Khalifa screening trailer was initially shared by a fan page dedicated to the actor on X (formerly Twitter), and it was subsequently reposted by Red Chillies Entertainment's official account.

The recently unveiled trailer, which made its debut on Thursday afternoon, has since been generating significant buzz across social media platforms. The trailer delves into the narrative of an unconventional anti-hero (SRK), engaged in a battle against Nayanthara's team and her formidable girl squad, as well as the drug lord Kalee portrayed by Vijay Sethupathi, all in pursuit of his mission.

Earlier in the week, SRK announced his plans to visit Dubai for the promotion of Jawan. In his message, he urged his fans to adorn themselves in the color of love (red) for the event, stating, "And since love is the most beautiful feeling in the world, toh pyaar ke rang mein rang jaa and lets wear red...what say? Ready?"

Jawan marks SRK's second film trailer to grace the Burj Khalifa this year. In a previous instance, the trailer for Pathaan was projected onto the towering structure, with the event being commemorated by a post from Burj Khalifa's official Instagram handle. The post's caption read, "It was a larger-than-life visual spectacle indeed when Pathaan took over the tallest building in the world. #PathaanTrailerOnBurjKhalifa."

Directed by Atlee and produced by SRK and Gauri Khan's Red Chillies Entertainment, Jawan is scheduled for release on September 7 this year in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu languages.

Apart from Shah Rukh Khan, the film's cast includes Nayanthara and Vijay Sethupathi in lead roles, as well as a special appearance by Deepika Padukone. The ensemble also features Sanya Malhotra, Priyamani, Girija Oak, Sanjeeta Bhattacharya, Lehar Khan, Aaliyah Qureshi, Ridhi Dogra, and Sunil Grover.
