Mumbai: Bollywood superstar Salman Khan, often dubbed the eternal bachelor of the Hindi film industry, revealed his thoughts on parenthood during the premiere episode of the streaming chat show Two Much With Kajol and Twinkle, alongside fellow superstar Aamir Khan.

When host Twinkle Khanna asked Salman about rumours of him wanting to adopt a child, the actor denied any such plans but expressed his wish to become a parent one day. “Children, I will have one day soon. It’s just that eventually one will have kids, but let’s see,” he said.

Salman also explained how he already has a “whole village” ready to care for his future child. “There’s a whole village, a district, my family. The women in my family are there to take care of the children. Alizeh has grown up, Ayaan has grown up. Now we have Aayat. By the time I have kids, Aayat will be able to take care of them,” he added.

Alizeh and Ayaan Agnihotri are the children of actor-producer Atul Agnihotri and Alvira Khan Agnihotri, Salman’s sister.

On the show, Salman also reflected on his past relationships, saying insecurity arises when one partner grows more than the other. “So they both need to grow together. Both need to get off each other's backs. I believe that,” he said.

Additionally, Salman opened up about his struggle with trigeminal neuralgia, a chronic pain disorder affecting the trigeminal nerve, which carries sensation from the face to the brain. He described enduring severe facial pain that felt like electric shocks for over seven years but said his condition has improved. “I wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy,” he remarked.
