Rupert Grint 'weird' over Harry Potter TV series
text_fieldsRupert Grint, popular as Ron Weasley from the Harry Potter movie series, revealed that it would be "weird" if the upcoming HBO Max series continued the story of Harry, Ron and Hermione from the movies.
Speaking to Variety, he said, "It'll be weird if it was a continuation kind of thing. I weirdly feel quite protective of that character. Even when I saw the stage shows, it was a very strange experience… If it's like a different group of friends, I guess it would be interesting." Rupert played the role of Harry Potter's close friend and ally from the first movie of the series, Harry Potter and the philosopher's stone in 2001 until the eighth film Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows –Part 2 released in 2011.
As per reports by The Hollywood Reporter, the Harry Potter TV series, based on JK Rowling's book series, is allegedly in the early stages of development at Warner Media-owned HBO Max. However, WG and HBO Max have denied such a project.
