Bollywood producer Rhea Kapoor recently shared insights into potential sequels for two of her successful projects, "Crew" and "Veere Di Wedding."

In a discussion with Variety, Rhea Kapoor addressed the idea of a sequel to the heist comedy "Crew," featuring Kareena Kapoor Khan, Kriti Sanon, and Tabu.

Despite her apprehension towards sequels, Rhea revealed that her writers had already proposed an idea for a sequel shortly after the film's completion. She described the concept as "crazy" but acknowledged the overwhelming positive response to "Crew" might sway her decision to proceed with a sequel, especially considering the film's open-ended conclusion.

Echoing Rhea's sentiments, producer Ektaa R Kapoor emphasized the strong chemistry between the lead actresses, stating, "Look at these three women, they are hitting it off with each other, the chemistry is banging."

In addition to discussing "Crew," Rhea Kapoor also shed light on the sequel to her 2018 buddy film "Veere Di Wedding," starring Kareena Kapoor Khan, Sonam Kapoor, Swara Bhasker, and Shikha Talsania.

While confirming the sequel's development, Rhea described it as a "work in progress" but assured fans that it would be worth the wait. She emphasized her commitment to making the sequel "special" by taking the necessary time to ensure it lives up to expectations. Rhea expressed her eagerness to deliver an unexpected and memorable experience for the audience, despite the pressure, jokingly adding, "Even if Ektaa kills me."

Directed by Rajesh A. Krishnan, "Crew" revolves around the lives of three air hostesses portrayed by Kareena, Kriti, and Tabu, and has garnered praise for its engaging storyline and performances.
