Ranbir Kapoor's first look in 'Animal' revealed

Mumbai: The highly anticipated Ranbir Kapoor film Animal's first look has been revealed. The actor looks violent and beastly in the poster.
The highly promising poster of Sandeep Reddy Vanga's directorial was revealed at 12 am on New Year's day. Fans are stunned and excited about the never-seen-before experience from the actor, reported Pinkvilla. The poster on Instagram shows Ranbir Kapoor in a bloody avatar. He is carrying a blood-soaked axe while lighting a cigarette.
Veteran Bollywood actor Anil Kapoor and rising star Rashmika Mandanna are also part of the film. Both took to their official social media handles to share the poster. "Releasing the #Animal within, soon! This is such a killer poster love it!," wrote Anil Kapoor. Rashmika shared the poster on her Instagram stories and wrote that she is excited for everyone to see it. "Presenting you the first look of ANIMAL. HAPPY NEW YEAR PEOPLE," wrote director Sandeep.
Movie experts at Pinkvilla opined that the poster suggests that Ranbir Kapoor is finally ready to shed his boy-next-door image. Animal is expected to be a violent psychological thriller. Ranbir is set to essay an action-packed role. He is seen with a thick beard, neck-long hair, and a gory wound on his biceps. Fans are also excited that Bulbul-fame Tripti Dimri is part of the film as she has always delivered nuanced performances. She is, however, not cast opposite Ranbir but is playing a pivotal character.
The teaser of the film had a powerful monologue that established that Animal is going to be a father-son story. However, it is unclear whether Anil Kapoor is playing the father's role.
