After much anticipation, Mohanlal has officially revealed his next project, teaming up with director Tharun Moorthy, known for his work in the acclaimed film Operation Java.

Mohanlal, known for his inclination towards collaborating with emerging talents, has chosen to work with Tharun Moorthy for his landmark 360th film.

The project, tentatively titled L360, was announced through updated posters released by the film's makers.

The announcement came directly from Mohanlal himself, who shared the news on his social media platforms. Expressing his excitement, Mohanlal said, "Looking forward to working with Tharun Moorthy and M Renjith for my 360th film."

He also mentioned that filming is set to commence next month.

Notably, this project breaks away from Mohanlal's tradition of working exclusively with Aashirvad Cinemas, marking a departure from his usual collaborators. It also reflects Mohanlal's recent trend of collaborating with fresh talents, showcasing his desire to explore diverse storytelling.

Director Tharun Moorthy, recognized for his work in films like Operation Java and Saudi Vellakka CC.225/2009, has earned critical acclaim for his previous projects. Given his track record, expectations are high for his collaboration with Mohanlal in this new venture.

Meanwhile, Mohanlal has an exciting lineup of projects in the pipeline.

His directorial debut, Barroz: Guardian of D'Gama's Treasure, is set to hit theaters in May, while he is concurrently filming L2: Empuraan, directed by Prithviraj Sukumaran, which is part of a planned trilogy including Lucifer.
