McCurry's post leaves netizens amazed on Big-B's resemblance to the Afghan refugee

New Delhi: American photographer Steve McCurry's latest post on Instagram has left the Indian audience in awe due to the subject's resemblance to that of the Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan.
The photograph reminds people of the actor's look from his 2020 film, Gulabo Sitabo.
A portrait photograph of an Afghan refugee was re-shared by the photographer on his official Instagram page on world refugee day.
"This portrait of Shabuz, an Afghan refugee living in Pakistan, reminds us of the millions of displaced people around the world. The unprecedented humanitarian crises across the globe have resulted in the largest number of refugees in history. A hundred million people have been displaced from their homes. We must all redouble our efforts to support these people, who through no fault of their own, find themselves in vulnerable and precarious situations." McCurry commented under the post.
In the portrait, the elderly individual has covered his head and one eye with safa. Although there are users who condemned the situation of the refugees, some others couldn't resist pointing out the resemblance.
"Why does he look like Amitabh Bachchan with makeup on?" commented an Instagram user under the photograph.
