Luxury fashion brand Prada has terminated its contract with South Korean actor Kim Soo Hyun amid allegations that he was involved in a relationship with late actress Kim Sae Ron when she was a minor.

According to a report from Soompi, Prada Korea confirmed that the decision to remove Kim Soo Hyun as a brand ambassador was made at the company’s headquarters, considering the severity of the accusations. The actor, who had been appointed as an ambassador in December last year, has now officially been dropped from the role.
In addition to Prada severing ties with Kim Soo Hyun, Homeplus, a well-known supermarket chain in South Korea, has also taken action. The company has removed promotional images featuring the actor from its storefront, and videos of billboards being taken down have been widely shared on social media.

The backlash has intensified following Kim Sae Ron’s tragic passing on February 16, when she was found dead in her Seoul apartment. Recent revelations have led the fans to speculate that KSH pushed Sae Ron to financial debt which led her to death.
