Khatija Rahman, the talented daughter of renowned composer AR Rahman, is making waves in the music industry with her exceptional singing and now as a budding composer. After receiving accolades for her captivating renditions in movies and a sensational debut on Coke Studio, Khatija is now set to step into the footsteps of her father and brother Ameen as she ventures into composing for the upcoming Tamil film "Minmini," directed by Halitha Shameem.

Expressing her delight, Halitha took to Twitter to share a photo of herself with Khatija at AM Studios in Chennai, announcing their collaboration. She praised Khatija's talent and described her as an exceptional singer and brilliant music composer.

Anticipation is high as fans eagerly await the enchanting melodies that will be created for the film. Halitha, in a previous tweet, hinted at the enchantment she felt while working with the composer for "Minmini," leaving followers curious and excited.

Khatija Rahman's journey in the music industry began as a playback singer in 2010, when she lent her voice to the song "Puthiya Manidha" in the film "Enthiran." Her success continued as she sang six more popular movie songs, captivating audiences with her melodious voice.

Her recent collaboration with rapper and playback singer Arivu on Coke Studio's Tamil edition, performing the song "Sagavaasi," further cemented her talent and garnered an impressive 22 million views on YouTube.

"Minmini" has been a much-anticipated film since its shooting commenced in 2015. However, director Halitha Shameem made a creative decision to suspend the shooting in 2018, after completing the first half.

She chose to wait for the young actors to grow up naturally, rather than casting different actors to play their elder versions. After a hiatus of several years, the filming finally concluded in 2022, spanning a total of seven years.

As Khatija Rahman takes on the role of a composer for "Minmini," expectations are high for the musical magic she will bring to the film. With her remarkable talent and the guidance of her father, AR Rahman, Khatija is poised to leave her mark on the industry and continue the family's musical legacy.

Audiences eagerly anticipate the release of "Minmini," eager to experience the enchanting melodies that will undoubtedly captivate their hearts and souls.
