Mumbai: Amid the success of her recent film "Tiger 3" alongside Salman Khan and Emraan Hashmi, actress Katrina Kaif shared her enthusiasm for the prospect of starring in an action film that pits her character from the "Tiger" franchise against her husband-actor, Vicky Kaushal.

Expressing her excitement during an interaction with News18, Katrina Kaif described the idea of a clash between her "Zoya" character from the "Tiger" franchise and Vicky Kaushal's "Vihaan Shergill" from "URI: The Surgical Strike" as enjoyable for the audience.

She said, "It will be interesting to pair with him (in an action film). His character Vihaan Shergill from Uri: The Surgical Strike against Zoya from the Tiger franchise is going to be fun and will have to see how it works out (smiles). I always say that it will be very exciting to do something with him on screen."

While appreciating Vicky Kaushal's acting prowess, Katrina lauded his dedication to his craft, acknowledging his excellence in front of the camera. She remarked, "His dedication towards his craft is what makes him so good in front of the screen."

"Tiger 3," directed by Maneesh Sharma, features Salman Khan reprising his role as Avinash Singh Rathore, alias Tiger, within the spy universe of Yash Raj Films. Katrina Kaif returns as Zoya Humaimi, Tiger's wife and former ISI agent, in the action-packed thriller.

The screenplay is penned by Shridhar Raghavan, with Anckur Chaudhry crafting the dialogues, and the story conceptualised by Aditya Chopra.

Adding to the film's ensemble, Emraan Hashmi portrays the role of Aatish Rehman, a terrorist. Moreover, the movie includes special appearances by Shah Rukh Khan as Pathaan and Hrithik Roshan reprising his character Kabir from the movie "War."

The theatrical release of "Tiger 3" coincided with Diwali on November 12, captivating audiences with its espionage-filled narrative set against the backdrop of the festival of lights.
