Hundreds of Bollywood songs have reportedly disappeared from the music app, according to a BBC story. Following the expiration of the previous arrangement, Spotify claimed that it was unable to come to an understanding with the owners of the tracks.

Popular songs from movies like "Malhari" from Bajirao Mastani, "Kala Chashma" from Baar Baar Dekho, and the title track of "Kalank" have been removed from the app, NDTV reported.

Social media users voiced their displeasure on Twitter. One user posted, "Spotify has suddenly removed many Hindi songs from its collection. What could be the reason behind it? Removed Songs include albums from: ABCD2,BaarBaarDekho,BadhaiDo, BangBang, SecretSuperStar, Dangal,Kalank,MissonMangal,PadMan,3idiots,Kedarnath,Jersey,Raazi."

Another user wrote, "They removed songs from kedarnath on Spotify! WTFFFF......"

"Many song albums like Kedarnath, Bhediya and Kalank which were produced by zee music have been removed from Spotify," the third user commented.

According to Spotify, it has not yet been possible to arrange a new contract. The business added that it would keep trying in "good faith" to come up with a "creative solution" with Zee Music.
